Superior Foes of Spider-man Omnibus

I've been looking forward to this one for some time.

A nice omnibus edition of a series which has had excellent reviews if not excellent sales.

More trade collections added - Atomic Robo and Brubaker's Batman

More trade collections have just arrived.

Very pleased to have another Atomic Robo Omnibus. I think there needs to be one more and we'll be up-to-date but I've not seen that solicited as yet.

And I know that I have plenty of Brubaker collections to read,

There is Catwoman, Fatale, Velvet and Criminal and I also have a massive Gotham Central Omnibus on pre-order. I'm waiting for a deluxe edition of "The Fade Out" to be published before I purchase that. So lots to read and that's great because he's a great writer.

Rat Queens volume 1

I've not managed to read much so far this year as I've been busy reading Star Wars and D&D rulebooks and scenarios but I did make time to read this. It was bought as a Christmas present and Mike was keen to know what I thought.

Well I enjoyed it a lot. It was an easy read with some nice art. Definitely in the adult category due to the plethora of profanity but all good fun. I will look for vol 2.

Some new collections

A couple of new collections have arrived recently.

The Daredevil by Mark waid is vol 4 in the nice oversized format. The fifth and final volume has already been pre-ordered and I very much look forward to reading the whole thing.

And Star Wars vol 2 also got delivered. I'm seeing very positive stuff online about this series but I should really try and read it before ordering volume 3.
