Two new meaty collections to add to my bookshelf.

Both look nice.

Trip to Forbidden Planet

Well for a change I actually bought some stuff from Forbidden Planet. Including two single comics although the "Criminal" magazine (£4.95) is a special edition that I don't think they can duplicate in a trade format because it's done in the style of the old Marvel magazines from the 70s. It looks great and of course I want it as it's by Brubaker and Phillips.

I play Munchkin and so I was curious to see what the comic (£3.15) was like. It took 10 mins to read and was OK.

The Wicked and Divine trade was only £7.50 which compares well to the price of the singles above doesn't it! That's a very similar price to what it is online. I've been wanting to try Gillen and McKelvie's work for a bit so this looks like the right time.

New month - new purchases

Two more new trades to add to the (massive) to-read-pile.

Interestingly, these were bought via Forbidden Planet which is cheaper than Amazon at the moment.

Cheap Dredd and more Black Science

The Dredd hardback collection was only £1.99! Nice

Black Science vol 2 looks nice too.

Things are looking slow at the moment as I'm not getting much time to read (currently on OOTS) and reading gaming rulebooks too is quite time-consuming.

I am buying less though.....right?
