Cerebus #92 was the first issue of Cerebus I ever bought. It was from a cheap back-issue bin from Nostalgia and Comics Birmingham. Even though it was towards the end of a major storyline - I was hooked. I lapped up as much of the back issues as I could (or phonebook reprints or Swords of Cerebus to be precise). It also inspired me to write and draw my own comic although "The ACEs" is nothing like it really.What a shame and a disappointment that actually it was about to change tone and direction and not be half as entertaining. My re-reading will not continue beyond the end of Church and State.
